More comic geeky stuff...

According to Nunzio DeFilippis, there would have been a relationship between Jay Guthrie and Dust in their planned issues of New X-men.

Asked the question - How were you going to handle her apparent religious beliefs within this romance? The most I could see them doing is holding hands, and I can't see her taking the relationship seriously unless he was a Muslim as well.

The reply came:

"We would have had Jay convert. Not right away.

Our plan was to have Jay fall in love with Sooraya despite never seeing her face (much less her body) and then learning of her beliefs. Then he'd convert to be with her, and the Guthries would have to deal with one of the family converting to Islam."

That could have proved... interesting. O.o

Following on from what I was muttering about the other day, the lack of fun in music at the moment, I was inspired to put together a CD of the tunes that make me feel GOOD in the summer. Those that I want to listen to when I'm driving along with the windows wound down and the radio up. The tunes that have me humming along or wanting to get up and do a snoopy dance.

Pretty eclectic mix, but less so than some. There's no theme beyond these being songs that make me HAPPY.
