Hmm, never heard of that. Of course, I'm one of those who loved the first season of Heroes and then never made it past two or three episodes into season two.
Sounds interesting. I've never seen this, or heard of it before. It looks like it may have shown in the UK, but only on Sky, which I don't get, so that might explain that.
But seeing as they've got the first season for 3 quid on Play.com - I'll give it a try!
Looks like two superheroish shows are debuting in the US next fall to try to close the gap of Heroes.
"The Cape", involving a cop who's framed for murder and goes underground, re-emerging by taking on the identity of his son's favorite comic book superhero.
and
"No Ordinary Family", with Michael Chiklis, about a family who suddenly develops super powers.
The other commenter mentioned 4400 from a while back, and while I do enjoy it, it does have some rough spots, sudden changes of plot and completely dropped threads, and it takes time to get into its own, and the general production values (acting, effects) aren't as good as Heroes, so be warned.
I'd say the first season of Heroes is probably better than MOST of the 4400, but the series on the whole is much better than any other season of Heroes.

But yeah, check out the 4400. If you enjoyed the first season of Heroes, you'll love the 4400.
