Yawwwwwwn

Properly exhausted now, just in time for the christmas period. Merry bloody Christmas.

That said, today has been okay. Had to work this morning, but I refused to stay there working on my own on Christmas Eve when everyone else has left. Bugger that.

So finished at one. Had a glass of champagne before we shut up shop, then I met my sister and her husband-to-be for lunch. Ver pleasant and nice to get a bit more time with him, not really had many opportunities so far.

Then rushed round and got the last few bits of my christmas shopping. Hopefully I haven't forgotten anyone. came back home and went straight to bed for a couple of hours. Absolutely exhausted by that point. Apologies to you all for not sending Christmas messages out this year. I missed the boat on that one.

Spent this evening wrapping presents for a couple of hours, literally. Not exactly the speediest wrapper anyway and had some big presents to wrap this year. Then some neighbours popped round while i was eating my dinner and we spent a while chatting with them. Mulled wine and port in front of Shanghai Noon then, which my parents hadn't seen and I love. Think they enjoyed it.

Now off to bed. No more port lest I develop gout.

Oh and...

Thanks to the messages of support after last night's rant. I think the foulness of my mood was readily apparent to everyone this morning. Everyone was especially nice and actually took time to say thanks after I bit their heads off.

Oh, and I did get a christmas bonus in cash in my christmas card, so I was pleased with that. Bonus.
