So... friggin'... tired.

Out like a light at 8.50 last night and slept straight through, disturbances from my folks popping in to say 'oh, sorry, didn't realise you were asleep' aside.

Meh, want to be at home right now, not in work.

On the plus side, went out earlier while I was waiting for my editor to get me some pages down and had what was probably one of the best meal of my life (maybe one of the most expensive too, but screw it, payday yesterday.) Went to a spanish restaurant nearby and the food was -so- good. I won't attempt to remember the Spanish names of the dishes I had, but I ate, with difficulty, meatballs in tomato sauce and melted cheese. Normally I'm not keen on too much tomato, but the olive oil and other secret ingredients made the sauce so incredibly delicious. Followed that with a nice glass of red wine and pan-fried duck breast in a port , mushroom and cream sauce. So amazingly rich and fattening and utterly delicious. Served with red cabbage (cooked with apple. *melts*), carrots and cream potatoes. It was all cooked to perfection. The duck and mushrooms had the most amazing texture, just crispy enough to be interesting, yet melt in the mouth.

I have to eat there again. Next payday maybe.

Up for a decent bonus this month apparently. Here's hoping. I need it bad. So skint it's not funny.
