Drained and tired today, unfortunately. Was feeling pretty good when I got up but over the past couple of hours (and since I got into work) the life has drained out of me.

Not surprising really.

Anyway, still a little up in the air emotionally. Feel like something is missing from my life just now, which it is. Guess I just need a little time to adjust now I'm back home and my relationship has evolved in the way it has. Talking to my girl... or my ex-girl, whatever... yesterday cleared my head some but I'm still a little confused and trying to find my footing again.

On the upside I did have a great holiday and remained good friends. Which is definately a good thing. Romance may have been lacking, but friendship and companionship was still there. We had a great time (I hope) eating, drinking and making merry all over the place and the holiday was certainly action packed. Too damn hot, but certainly action packed. ;)

As usual I need a holiday to recover again now.

Jetlag is pressing at me a bit but not too horrifically. Tired but not completely drained. Bought back loads of crap, loads of toys, books, CDs, graphic novels and more. The usual trick of packing my case with as much cheezy shite as I can get my hands on. :)

Will write more after work I expect. Ta ta for now.

Erf...

Just had a car accident.

Before anyone panics, yes, I'm okay, the driver of the other vehicle is okay. That's what I'm most concerned with. The other stuff will be dealt with in the morning when I've got the other driver's insurance details and the insurance company it taking calls and so on...

Anyway, my car is a mess.

What happened? Coming up on the ferry that takes me across Poole harbour to home. I'm in the middle lane, someone else is in the left turn lane. They suddenly realise they'd gone the wrong way and swing round into me. I swerve too late, they're already in my side by the time I turn. I'm not sure if the car will be a write off or not - they've buckled a wheel slightly, caved in the wing and front passenger door and all down the side across the back door too. Torn the front off their car too pretty much. They admitted their mistake at least but I'm feeling a bit shaken maybe, but relieve no-one was hurt.

My poor car though.

It also screws me up for deadline week next week. Not sure yet if I'll be able to get a hire car.

Meh.
