Wolverine and the X-men Episode 14

I'm a little behind watching Sniktbub and the X-men, for reasons already mentioned, so I'm playing catch up a bit. This episode aired last Sunday and there's another from today I haven't seen yet. But I have a spare half hour, so let's play catch up.
And I guess we're looking at a Wolverine-centric episode again, judging by the Weapon-X focused recap sequence. It's no surprise they'd return to the dangling plotthreads, although I thought they might have left it a little longer. Maybe they realised that after Wolverine being a huge jackass for a couple of episodes, they needed to give him the spotlight to show he's more than a complete arse.
Is there going to be more inappropriate leering at Maverick's daughter? You betcha!
Tactically, Logan still needs some coaching. "You're in grave danger! So what I want you to do is sit at home and wait for it to turn up on your doorstep." Swiftly followed by "She could be on that plane! Let's blow it up!"
You know, just once, when Wolverine jumps out of an aircraft at another aircraft, I'd like him to miss. Just by a few inches so he can learn that lesson about tactics on the way down.
...
Okay, I spoke to soon. Thank you for making my wish come true, Mr Fine. Now do it again! :D
Cornelius worries a lot. You know what? Cornelius is usually right too. If he's crapping his pants, it's time to stand up and take notice, bad guys.
"The man I loved"? Aw, Destiny and Mystique not canonical in the toonverse then? Not surprising but not even some subtext? Tch.
You know, Logan, if you want to rescue your latest jailbait in one piece, it might be sensible to STOP BLOWING SHIT UP.
Ooh, X-23. Hi! I know she's not the most popular of characters in certain circles, but she's always been more interesting than might be expected in her origin stories. Let's hope for the same again here.
"Let's blow up the building before we've rescued the girl and while we're still in it." can we throw Logan out of a plane again?
"That man is gone. You can never be him again."
"Why?"
"... Whatever, Magneto's hotter anyway."
"Christie?"
"Daddy?"
"Scott!"
"Janet!"
And on that happy note, the episode winds to a close. And, frankly, like the other Weapon X story before, this was moderately entertaining but not the best of the series by a long way. Still, an average episode of this series is not to be sneezed at. It's just, Wolverine being dropped out of planes aside, it didn't deliver a whole lot new in the way of the Weapon X story, apart from setting up a new OTP which will probably have people gnawing at chair legs. For myself, I'm indifferent, the only positive thing to pop up here, in my opinion, was the first sight of X-23, who could spice things up a bit. That and the plane.
