Kenneth Branagh lined up to direct Marvel's "Thor". Unexpected.

The phrase "asking for trouble" was made for this invention. Also the word "twat."

Man takes photos of himself every day for 17 years. Here's the result.

The words "exploding" and "custard" make everything better when used in combination.

Presumably in honour of that Palin woman, it's Banned Books Week.

And speaking of, Palin for President!

Or how about the Sarah Palin Baby Name Generator. I'd be Chisel Dustup Palin, apparently.

Scary. Chalk this up as no loss.

Weird inventions from the 1930s.

The first reviews of the new Bond movie are in.

Men Behaving Badly - Drunk. The complete episode up on Youtube. I loved this show and this episode most of all. Perhaps because so much of it is... familiar?

I love Kenneth, I love Thor and I love Marvel movies (except for Spider-Man 1-3, X-Men 3, FF and Elektra) and yet, I also love chocolate, liver and salmon, alas, I don't want them on one plate. We'll see though.

Let's face it; perhaps it does make me shallow but Craig's ass is the only reason I watched CR and it's the only reason I'll go to see QoS.

I agree wholeheartedly with your first paragraph. Disliking the Spider-Man trilogy and X-Men 3 make you a good person.

CR was okay, but nothing special. The, er, ass thing doesn't apply to me.

I think the main reason while SM is a total failure for me is that Spidey is not the funny, cheeky, NOTEMO guy I know and love. They forgot that 95% of the fans know his as this funny guy who can crack jokes even in the middle of the fight and never shuts up.
Eddie/Venom was closer to Spider-Man than Spider-Man.

I think the movies stand up well as pieces of entertainment. But if I want a Spiderman who looks and acts like the character I know I'll... um... well, not read the comics. Go back and read old comics, I guess.

I'm no fan of Dunst and Toby McGuire kinda sleep walks through every role with this weird shit eater grin.

None of the Marvel adaptations have nailed it for me, anyway. There's enough in most of them to please me but I have different views of the characters.
