In time for Halloween, it's an undead robot chair. The mild mannered Robot Chair in the video below was designed by Max Dean and Raffaello D’Andrea, and it has the ability to reconstruct itself after being smashed to pieces.
The seat of the chair contains the brains (braaaaains), as well as 14 motors and 2 gearboxes. According to the description, the chair seems to depend to some extent on an external computer to direct it to the location of each part on the floor. So, it’s exactly like a video game monster: you can kill the chair over and over, but in order to win, you’ll have to find the secret hidden computer that’s actually in control. Before it’s too late.
