"A lot of folks and readers have been asking what is Guillermo Del Toro doing next after Hellboy 2: The Golden Army?

Well thanks to "Anonymous" we know what he is doing next. It ain't TARZAN folks. But yes Guillermo is still doing TARZAN, and the script isn't finished just yet.

Anyway GDT next movie is.....

AT THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS his longtime passion project that he adapted from the novel by H.P. Lovecraft! I know he's been wanting to do this for the longest and it was always said that he is doing it but GDT never had a home (Studio) for it.

The story follows explorers who journey to the Arctic where they uncover an ancient race of beasts.

AND The studio with Los cojones doing it with GDT?

Universal Pictures!

The film is also being produced by Susan Montford, Don Murphy's Angry Films producing."

I know Don's had this one on the boil for a long time, so if it finally comes off, along with the adaptions he's producing of Neil Gaiman's Death: The High Cost of Living (with Gaiman writing/directing), WE-3 (adapted by Grant Morrison from his own miniseries) and Brian Michael Bendis' Torso, to be directed by David Fincher (Se7en), it should be a good year for the big man.

I'm scared. The movie/TV adaptations of Lovecraft have a long and proud history of SUCK and I'm afraid this is going to be another example that you can't make a good movie out of Cthulhu mythos. Theoretically it has everything to be a-awesome and yet, over and over again, we are proved that no, it can suck and it will suck.
But anyway, I'm crossing my fingers. You go mister!

It's true, but then those other movies didn't have Guillermo Del Toro directing, who proved with Pan's Labyrinth he can do weeeeeird.
