More of the same

Decided to audition for the part of Gilbert in The Browning Version and read for Johnny and/or the policeman in Harlequinade tonight. Will see how I do. I'd like to take on the larger role, but I think I'd find a couple of smaller roles the easier option, what with having to drive across to my folks for rehearsals and deadlines intervening.

My attempts at making sushi for the first time last night were mixed. Ended up, after an initial muck up, with some quite presentable sushi but it tasted a little dry when I ate it today, so I guess I didn't get the rice exactly right. Not bad though. Took it into work and shared it round, served with the hottest wasabi I've ever tasted in my life and lifted the skin off the roof of my mouth. Perfect.

Also added another bunch of avatars, since somehow 40 didn't seem enough.
