When fandoms collide

James Marsters (Buffy's Spike), is going to appear in an episode of series 2 of Torchwood, according to his official site.

Okay, I'd rather who appeared in Who proper, but even so, this gets a squee! from me.

Wonder if he'll do the comedy London accent.

Randomly, I found an old copy of a Radio Times supplement from a few years back, when the new Who had just been announced and they'd done polls on who the best monsters were, best stories etc. One of the questions was "Who should be the new Doctor?"

And Anthony Stewart Head (or good ol' Tony Head as he's known here) seems to have won it by a landslide.

Shame he's out of the running in future, but we at least got a great guest spot from him.
