Well, the fat lady has sung...

And the first season of Heroes is over.
Just sat and watched the final episode. Hmmm, what did I think?
I dunno why but I felt it was a bi... anticlimactic.
I was expecting a LOT more from the Sylar /Peter fight. Was actually expecting them to start tossing their powers at each other but what happened was fairly unimpressive. A battle royale with invisibility, telekinesis, rapid healing, flight etc etc should have been da bomb. Instead we got Sylar standing and gloating and Peter choking. Then a few punches. And then Hiro appears and it's over. Uh...
The nighttime setting wasn't as cool as the daylight dream sequence with Peter going nova in the main street with hundreds of people fleeing for their lives. I felt a bit let down by the fact the ONLY people around were some of the cast members.
And the ending was as predicted. I was hoping for more of a surprise.
Sylar's fate annoyed me. Please, some closure.
However, the PLUS...
Everything else resolved. (Almost.) Thinking about it as a complete series that's an incredible achievement and taking this and last week's episodes together to make one big ending it has more power than this episode on its own.
Even though it was predictable, Nathan was awesome.
A couple of nice twists even up to the last minute.
Mr Bennet's first name revealed!
Everything being connected - even Simone's father. However, looking at it, he makes a big spiel about Peter being the one to save the world and then he almost destroys it, if not for help. Now, who thinks that's going to come into play next season?
Matt's a hero (but he better not die). They could have told him Ted was dead though. Poor bugger.
Ando lives. They'd have been dumb to kill him but they had me worried for a minute there.
The glimpses of "Volume Two". Oh, that looks like it should be gooood.
