Transformers voice actor casting

(Disappointingly) the role of Megatron hasn't gone to veteran voice actor Frank Welker, who voiced him in the original cartoon. it has, however, gone to Hugo Weaving (V for Vendetta, Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, Babe). Rumor has it that Welker will be involved in the movie, however, taking the role of one of the other Decepticons.

Also, apparently, confirmed is Keith David (Goliath in Gargoyles and many VA and movie and TV roles) who will voice the Decepticon police cruiser Barricade.

They join Peter Cullen, the original voice of Optimus Prime, who is reprising the role.
