Pink director swipes from Martin Emond

Pop singer Pink and music director Christian Walser are being accused of ripping off images from the late Martin Emond for a new music video. FanDumb has an article comparing Emond’s illustrations and stills from the video.

Ever seen the blatant misuse of an another's artistic vision? Well it goes a little something like this…



Don Murphy was a friend of Marty Emonds before his suicide in 2004 and has asked people to draw attention to this, saying "If you agree this is bullshit, do me a favor- forward the link to a friend or to a favorite site. The more people who learn about this the more PINK and the Pink Peeps will be forced to confront their evil."

As a comment elsewhere eloquently put it: "There is a freakin' clear line between paying homage to someone and ripping them off....if you were truly to pay homage to a great artist, you would not only borrow the material, but put the original artist's name on it, and give him the due respect."
