Coming up on deadline week so I suppose I better sneak in an update when I can.

Had a quiet week - my assistant's been away at work so I've needed to work really hard to cover his workload too. Not a bad thing, it's stopped me getting bored.

My sister was up from Devon earlier in the week with her husband and my two nephews. Had a nice day with them on Sunday (they're staying at my parents' place while they're away) on the beach and in the garden. Tuesday I went round to my other sister's after work for a barbecue which was really nice too, although I admit I find two toddlers and a baby hard work, not to mention the rest of the family. When everyone gets together it can get noisy.

Almost glad of the quiet at work where I've been left to my own devices a lot.

I've done pretty well on my diet. Since I started a month ago I've lost a stone (14lb). Halfway there practically. If I can get down to 12 and a half stone I'll be happy.
