Newsarama has an interview with Frank Tieri about Chamber's appearance in New Excalibur. Looks like they're not done screwing with the poor guy yet...

On the plus side, it looks like Jono's gonna get some time in the spotlight and he's getting a revival after House of M robbed him of his powers and left him trapped inside his dead, powerless shell of a body.

On the plus side, Tieri wrote Jono really well as a character.

On the plus side, we'll find out what happened to Jono between the end of Weapon X and the beginning of House of M and the Starsmore family's... history that was a big factor in the thoroughly enjoyable Apocalypse/Dracula miniseries is gonna be explored.

On the plus side, Jono and Pete Wisdom! Together at last!

On the negative side... ARGGGHHHHH!! Look what they did to the poor guy!

Still, any Jono is better than "depowered and never coming back" Jono.

Check the interview. I'm pretty sure it's in New Excalibur 9 that's the Chambercentric issue. It sounds from this other interview here (http://www.newsarama.com/marvelnew/Excalibur/Tieri/Tieri_Excal.html) that it's a one off.
