Second night...

Disappointingly smaller audience for the show tonight. Still 60 or so, but I wish it had been better. Pretty much the same as the last play we did but...
Pretty much everything else improved - smoke happened when it was suposed to and there werre fewer glitches with the lighting but it was still far from being as tight as it should have been and there were a couple of glaring errors. The tech guys seem to be playing a buck passing game and the cast are very unhappy. I can see their point. They've spent the last three months rehersing two nights a week to get their side of things perfect and it's being spoilt by sloppy lighting.
Disappointing.
Still, an improvement and it didn't seem to detract too much from the audience's enjoyment.
Just... yeah, perfect would have been nice.
Just because we're amateurs doesn't mean we should be amateurish. And what gets me most if the ones who look most amateurish are the professionals.
