Still tinkering but this is basically the poster design for the Cole Porter musical High Society that I got asked to do.

Not quite there yet, still missing some indo, but considering how crappy it looked yesterday when I was fooling around with it, and how convinced I was it was going to look crap, I'm relieved.

But comments please. I think there's still some room for improvement.

Frankly, I like it. I think it looks great and rated it so on the site. Your posters have always had a simple elegance to them, which allows the reasons for them to shine through; to draw interest to the message you're sending while the image is a backdrop, if you will.

If that makes sense, great! It's sincere, but I'm flying on flu meds, atm. ;)

Looks good, but...

I like the overall composition and colors (even though yellow is one of my least favorite colors) but I think the champaign bottle and flute are a little chunky in their proportions. Particularly if it's as light a show as it sounds, I'd be tempted to think lightness and grace in your glassware would be good. :) Also I think the foil on the champaign bottle is a bit far down on the neck, there's something vaguely condom-ish about it. If you intend there to be an element of the phallic in the bottle, that might be a good thing. I don't know what kind of show this is. :)

Its cool...I like it...
Except for the champagne bottle...could do with being slimmer and the light spot just looks wrong...
Not that I could do any better but you asked for critique...
