... I shall be spending Halloween night in, fearful of all the ghosts and ghoulies and stuff that are said to be abroad on this fearful night.

I will NOT be dressig up and going door to door begging, like a hobo.

Tradition dictates it. On Halloween an Englishman's home is his castle. I refuse to get drawn into this godawful transatlantic trick or treat crap. Who the hell came up with that shit?

Thankfully, few people in the UK are warped enough to try and emulate our colonial cousins.

You know, I don't think anyone expects adults to be going from door to door trick or treating. If they do that in your country, you're doing it wrong. ;)
