Further explosions in London.
Jul. 21st, 2005 06:47 pm
Echoing the July 7th attacks, four bombs have exploded in London. Three on the tube, one on a bus.
Only one person slightly injured.
Initial reports are of small explosive charges going off in bags, two of which were definitely being carried by would-be bombers who were chased from the scenes of the attacks.
Two arrests so far, plus another arrest near Downing Street.
A report from the police just came in and things are still unclear, but the police commisioner said that the bombs were aimed at killing large numbers of people. It seems that detonators went off, but it seems like they failed to trigger the larger explosive devices.
Thank the lord.
