Found this brilliant site - STRIP CREATOR.COM for those whose sense of humor outweighs your drawing talent.
Loads of great characters to create your own comic strips with. And so damn easy.
Sadly I couldn't think of any jokes myself, but some of the strips there are goddam funny.
