Actually these have been around for years. If memory serves they came out while Newt Gingrich was still speaker of the House (in the U.S., obviously) and I always thought they were fortuitously named. Newticles. Look like real balls, but they are only plastic. >:)
For those who don't remember, Newt was a strong obstructionist conservative voice in Congress, who was working very hard to push the right wing agenda, including intolerance of homosexuals. About that time (I'm not making this up) his own sister came out very publicly as a Lesbian. He had the good grace to stand in public and laugh at himself and say something to the effect that, "Whatever, I still love my sister."
