No Nightcrawler in X3?

Not according to Alan Cumming's official site alancumming.com. It seems that Fox have passed on the option to pick up his contract for the next movie, so it's likely to be a Nightcrawler free zone.

I guess they're gonna be concentrating on new characters Kitty, Hank and Warren this time round.

It'd have been nice to see him, though, even if it wasn't in a major role...
