So, the flat's finally coming together as I drop stuff off as I pack daily. I'm now kinda wondering if I'm going to be able to fit in all the furniture I have but we'll see I guess.

Last night I had all the bedroom furniture delivered, along with a computer desk and a few other bits. In the bedroom I now have:

A dressing table
3 chests of drawers
2 bedside cabinets/chests of drawers
1 matching shelf 'corner' unit
1 double wardrobe
1 new computer desk

I'm also getting:

My double bed. ;)
Another double wardrobe from my neighbours.

I can fit all that in, so I'm happy. It's starting to look habitable in the bedroom.

Went to an auction on tuesday and got a whole load of stuff:

2 paintings, one original, one print.
A 3 piece suite, with a two seater sofa and 2 chairs.
A lounge unit, with an under cupboard and shelves.
Another armchair.
A washing machine.
A nest of coffee tables.

So the washing machine has to go in the kitchen. The spare armchair is good for the bedroom. That means I have to find room in the lounge for:

2 white bookshelves
My old desk
2 cabinets
The lounge unit
A tv cabinet and tv etc
2 armchairs and a 2 seater sofa.
Coffee tables.

It'll never all fit. :P

I -hope- the lounge unit will fit in one of the alcoves by the fireplace and chimney breast but I'm not really sure. It's going to be very tight. At least I can console myself that I paid next to nothing for everything at the auction - for example the solid wood lounge unit cost me about 3 dolars. Everything I bought at auction cost me £120.

-Hopefully- the auction purchases will be delivered tomorrow and on Monday I hope I'll have everything ready to move finally. There's a loooooot of packing to do before then though.
