From what I know it went down to correct a 'network malfunction'. I don't know how that might have made it difficult for you to connect, or if it's just an unrelated router connection problem. It's only been like 2 hours though, so it could easily be just a minor problem (if you're still trying, that is). I'll see if I can contact the sitewiz and check if there's anything wrong on that end.
Nods... did you try both connectiong to xet.vulpine.org port 2104 and xet.xmush.org port 2104? Sometimes one works for some people, while the other doesn't.
Yep, also pinged the ip and it came back okay, as did a traceroute. So I can see the ip butwhen I try to connect it just... sits there. No connection screen, nothing.
Okay, heard back from the sitewiz... apparently, this sort of thing is happening on other games on the server too, with different people, and in fact that was the 'network malfunction' they were trying to correct. The sitewiz is still looking into it but can't do any more right now till they get home.
Well it wasn' exactly that I thought -I'd- been sitebanned, more that someone else might have been and I'd got caught up in it. Still not fixed by the way. ;)
