Developing a mild Johnny Cash obsession. This week end seems to have been one long Johnny Cash-athon. Downloaded a load of stuff and recorded it to CD to listen to on the drive down to my sister's over the weekend, and from there on in every radio station seemed to be playing Johnny Cash, and when we went down the pub on Friday night Johnny Cash was on endless repeat. Weird. Mind you, slowly forming the opinion the guy's a genius the more I hear. I got an album of his a few months before he died and liked it, but of course, since his deah they've been playing more and more of his songs on the radio and I've come to realise how great he is.

Current tune of choice - His cover of Nick Cave's 'The Mercy Seat'. Best electric chair themed song I've heard.

Should be a quiet morning this morning at work. My secretary's at college which means no-one looking over my shoulder. Time to download photomanipable images. ;)

Good weekend at my sister's. Nice to spend time with my nephew and teaching him to say bugger. He's a sweet kid, he really is. Far more good natured than anyone else in the family. Dunno where he gets his good humour from. ;)

Gave me time to absorb the new that my other sister is apparently getting married on December 27th. To a guy she's been seeing a couple of months. In act, she only met him a couple of months ago. Odd situtation which I still haven't completely absorbed. Not much to say but 'good luck' but I do find it all way too sudden...

New comic day today, rather belatedly... Should be a good week though. Need to get my ass up there at lunchtime.
