May. 29th, 2003 10:13 pmWas watching a programme the other day on telly that was talking about the effects of Red Bull (high caffiene energy drink - it gives you wings!) consumption. The effects are various - a representative of the manufacturers was talking about it. Apparently one can will keep you awake an extra couple of hours on average, up to three cans are likely to keep you awake all night. Any more than five and you'll expereince a buzz that's pretty much comparable to the effects of amphetemines in all symptoms.
I went out earlier and bought a dozen cans.
Now on my second can, my 6th pro plus (caffiene pills), my second bar of chocolate and am currently clinging to the ceiling.
On the other hand it's coming up on half eleven, I'm still at work, but I'm still awake! Bonus.
Nowhere near finishing the paper though. Major drawback.
