Oh my goodness.

Juggernaut chasing Kitty THROUGH WALLS just made my day.

Apologies to everyone who said Brett Ratner was going to suck, but judging by that trailer you're wrong on every level.

..on the High Society poster.

Green's not my favourite colour either, but I'm restricted to two colours for this job. I'm not sure whether to have the yellow printed as actual metallic gold... Anyway, I needed green for the champagne bottle.

I agreed with what people said about the champagne bottle - I wasn't happy with it either. Inistially I'd intended to do the bottle in the style of Cassandre's arc deco Dubonet ads, but as usual it metamorphed into something else and the bottle kinda got left behind. So I started again from scratch and redid the entire bottle. I'm now far happier with it.

Any other comments on the amended version?

...there's a whole page of parodies.

So, witness the awesomness of remixed gay romance trailers of Last Samurai, Spongebob Squarepants, Star Wars, Fight Club, Day of the Dead (!), He Man, Pulp Fiction, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, City Slickers, Lord of the Rings (okay, not much re-editing required) and many more.

Including March of the Penguins.

March of the Gay Penguins.

I am so there.

And, there's also Chuck Norris in "WALKER: Brokeback Ranger"

I laughed so hard.

More "I Heart Marvel" goodness. This week was the turn of
"Masked Intentions", written by Fabian Nicieza, which sees a couple of superhero romances: Justice and Firestar and the more cracktacular meeting of Squirrel Girl ("Mutant rodent protector of woodland creatures and nice people everywhere") and Speedball, the Masked Marvel ("the boisterous bouncing bohunk"). So here's that story for you.

It doesn't quite live up to the Doop story from a few weeks ago (Doop slash is still the greatest thing EVER!), or Dan Slott's Great Lake's Avengers, but it's not bad. I think I love the idea of the cute pool of lameness that is Doreen and Robbie more than the actual execution though.

However, there's some great moments and soooo cute.

And also...
