Hugh has Golden Globes

Oh, hey, Hugh Laurie won a Golden Globe for House.
Coolness. Still never managed to see the show myself, but Hugh's a great British comedy actor and a hero of my childhood for "A Bit of Fry and Laurie" with Stephen Fry, "Blackadder" and the adaptations of P.G. Wodehouse's books in "Jeeves and Wooster", also with Stephen Fry.
I'm gonna have to dig out my old videos.
I've lost track of him a little since he's moved to the US, apart from seeing him in his odd movie roles, although he still pops up over here on stuff like Comic Relief.
Amusing to note that when he auditioned for House, director Bryan Singer, upon viewing Laurie's audition tape, pointed to him as an example of a compelling American actor.
Having been to Eton and then to Selwyn College, Cambridge, the guy's about as English as tea and crumpets.
I hope this leads to people taking further interest in his excellent novel "The Gunseller".
Perfect for movie adaptation.
