Lord Kitchener was one of the most internationally famous calypsonians. Hailing from Trinidad, his unique take on calypso music earned him fame during the 1940s and onwards and included classic tracks such as Rain-o-rama, Pan in A Minor, Sugar Bum Bum and Dr. Kitch.

Dr. Kitch is a true classic, saucy lyrics and lively calypso combining into a genuinely rib tickling joy.

He continued recording until his death in 2000. Kitchener is honoured with a statue in Port-of-Spain. He is buried in the Santa Rosa Cemetery in Arima.

Mr. T says "Pay attention, foo'!"

MSNBC says that Mr. T has been signed to deliver celebrity voice content for mobile GPS navigation systems.

He will replace the computer generated voice typically provided and guide the driver with basic instructions such as "turn left", the difference being he'll add, "I aint playin" and then threaten you. Seriously. Other commands include "Pay attention to what I'm saying," and "Mr. T gonna get you there in one piece … you gonna be there safely, or else!"

Make no mistake about it, if you don't pay attention and drive carefully, Mr. T will kick your ass. He's not joking.
