Hyper this morning, not quite sure why. Had a great scene on XET last night that I had great fun with. May be something to do with it. That and lack of sleep that often has this effect all on in the day. Anyway, either way, in a good mood so I'm not about to knock it. ;)

Given up trying to resolve the ADSL issue, just resting up and enjoying my quiet week now.

Lunch with me mum today, lunch with friends tomorrow. All is good. Need a way to unwind and getting some decent rp time with a great couple of rpers last night really helped. Heh, only need -more- time with the girlfriend now and I'll be happy. Never can get enough. Guess I'm greedy like that.

Things moving on my planned holiday too, so all in all things are looking up. Much more confident positive mood this morning. Be glad to get rid of the crick in my neck but all is good. :)

List!

Okay, so i'm bored now, but was contemplating things on the bus this morning, just in a stupid mood and decided, for no reason, to make a couple of lists. Blokes like lists. I am a bloke, therefore I feel the need to make lists. Not really about anything interesting, just a random thought thing after reading a few comics last night. :)

In no particular order, here they are...

Favourite X-men characters:

1. Emma Frost
2. Cyclops
3. Marrow
4. Skin
5. Jono

(Like I say, no particular order, I can't rate them all because Iove them all for different things. And they have to be handled way too. Marrow is a great character, is -was-. For about 20 issues, before she was prettified and before the final travesty of using her in Weapon X, which is Marrow by name only. Emma's been -really- good recently, really edgy and utterly lacking in morals which is always good. And Scott! He always gets such a rough deal from people. Is he boring? Maybe, but he's just an ordinary guy trying to be a hero, treating it as a job. He's the X-men's straight man, and when everyone else is a complete freak you need a straight man. )

Least favourite X-men Characters:

1. Gambit
2. Psylocke
3. Lifeguard
4. Bishop
5. Cable

(Why do I dislike this guys? Well come on, Gambit's a French closet homosexual. Oh come on, he obviously is. Look at him - he wears pink. He's popular with the ladies, like most gay men. He totally over compensates by flirting with everyone - the whole 'I'm not gay, honest!' smokescreen. And considering he has the pick of the women who does he choose? The one woman he knows can never touch him. Blatent. however, not the reason I dislike him. I just find him...tedious. Stupid accent, stupid clothes, the whole master thief nonsense, can't be doing with it. Bishop's dull, Lifeguard is just..well, the most unimaginably crap concept and name ever, with absolutely no disinguishing features from any other 'character' Chris Claremont has invented in the last 20 years. cable is a crap early nineties hard man . And Psylocke? Nice legs, shame about the total lack of personality. She's a beautiful ninja! Whoo! Nice original concept.)

Characters i'd most like to app or see apped on a MUX:

1. No-Girl
2. Vincente
3. Glob Herman
4. Stacy X
5. Plant Man

The ADSL saga continues!

My boss now seems to be determined to take the ISP we signed up with to court for breach of trust, breach of contract, covetting their neighbours ass and whatever else is going. I've washed my hand of the whole thing. He seems pretty sure we'll win any case we bring and he's not someone to back down. Got to respect that.

I have a tendency to agree. Any company that sets up a month's trial period after which you are bound into an annual contract, then spends over a month to actually send the hardware deserves everything that's coming to them.

We're going to war!

Hoohah!

Anyway, not my problem anymore, I refuse to involve myself with it, or attempt to find another company to supply broadband unless this is all resolved first.

Bollocks to it I say.

Anyhow, I want comments folks. I want running commentry on my life. ;)

Hmm, wondering quite -how- I manage to injure myself in new and interesting ways. I have absolutely no idea how I've managed to pull muscles in my shoulder, neck, down one side and also the entire length of my leg. Surely it's not possible for one person to sleep in such bloody awkward positions that they do this to themselves. I have a limp! A bloody limp!

Think I need someone to keep me still in bed *cough*. Hopefully soon. ;)
