Okay, -now- this ADSL thing is beginning to piss me off.

Rang technical support wanting to get the faulty router replaced. They tried to start me talking through the startup process -again-. I've done this about 5 times over the phone now, each with a different person.

So I get a little sharp at this, poining out that I've spoke to a number of people before and that the problem is obviously down to the router being faulty and needing to be replaced, to be told that the guy wouldn't be happy with that until he'd spoken me through the process -again- personally.

So round and round we go.

Eventually reach the conclusion that, yes, the hardware is fucked. and it needs to be returned.

and we need to pay for it.

I ask to be transferred to customer support and am refused so I hang up.

My temper is a little short now, ;P

Anyway, another call to customer support and my boss steps in and decides to just cancel the whole thing and be done with it. they claim that it's now impossible to cancel the contract and we're liable for the setup costs and the entire year's contract. I don't think they've reckoned on my boss who will refuse to give up on this. The fact that he's already drawig up legal papers is a bad sign.

and still no ADSL.

Sucks to be me. :P
