Once more unto the breach?

Hmm. Went to the read through of the plays that are being produced for the next production of my drama group. A Terence Rattigan double bill of The Browning Version and Harlequinade (both one-act plays intended to be presented as a double bill). The former, a bitter-sweet story about an obselete public school teacher on the verge of retirement through ill health who's being cuckolded by his bitter wife. The latter a farce about a touring theatre company.

Good roles in each and I'll audition for something, but I'm not sure whether to go for the relatively minor role in The Browning Version of the main character's replacement, or the younger teacher his wife is having an affair with, which is a much more major role.

Hmm.
