Thanks for the comments yesterday, on the poster design. I've worked on it a bit today and tweaked a number of things. I agree with the comment it'll look better in a darker red (I'm aiming for a deep wine colour), but it's tricky to get on screen. As for the more ornate font dripping, he style of the font's exactly what I was looking for and I can't find anything similar without the drips, so I've stuck with what I've got.

I think the only bit that nags at me still is the wine glass. It's central and there's so much red to it that the eye is drawn pretty much only to it. I have to force myself to look at the rest.

I'd imagine, on an advertisement poster like this, you'd rather the eye drawn to everything, or the text a bit more...

Hrrrm... Maybe a darker red than the rest, for the red in the wine glass?

I'm thinking I might make the ARSENIC white again, I'm not sure it stands out enough.

And the eye is supposed to be drawn to the wine glass... or are they faces? That anyway.

That's bizarre... the goblet and the balls of yarn almost make it seem as though there are two human silhouettes. Maybe it's just me.
