As Don Murphy received the updated version of the script for the TF movie, ahead of Monday's meeting with Speilberg and the Paramount executives, he popped onto his forums to answer some more question. Of course, I was sleeping and missed it, but...

Before the questions he had this to say...

What no one is REALLY getting is that this film is NOT entirely what you are expecting.
We are NOT doing a cartoon.
We are NOT doing CGI.
We ARE doing a real live action film with CGI in it.
It IS an origin film.
You will get many injokes and you will love the characters and the action.
John does NOD to the comics and the series
BUT it is designed to make $400 million which means people will groove on it who have never heard of TF before and think that you guys are cool for liking TF.

So start thinking THAT way and you will really be pleased.

Then followed a bunch of questions from people, some dumb and some informative. Added onto the five he answered last time they make THE THIRTEEN QUESTIONS OF DOOM! apparently.

1) 'Some' of the Transformers DO arrive in pre-historic times
2) Optimus Prime WILL have his traditional look as a cab-over semi
3) If the movie were made as the script is right now, it would NOT be over 2 hours long (following the page=minute rule)
4) Soundwave IS in the movie with a more conventional alt-mode
5) There will be NO Dinobots in this movie
6) Bludgeon is NOT in it
7) NO characters remain with a Cybertonian alt-mode
8) Megatron WILL be a tank
9) A gestalt does NOT make an appearance
10) Soundwave WILL have minions
11) MORE than 4 Autobots and Decepticons appear
12) NO one on this forum has guessed what Soundwave's alt-mode will be yet
13) Transformers identified by name DO die

And then, apperently, because he was feeling generous, he aswered some more...

14. Based on past experiences he doesn't think this is the FINAL script that will make it into the movie. But close.
15. The centrepoint to the movie will "sort of" be the search for the matrix. But there's nothing called "the matrix" in the film. And Keanu's not in it either.
16. Ratchet is not an ambulance, but a firetruck, but one of the kinds that "helps people and stuff." So maybe more of a paramedic vehicle.
