angelophileHyper busy over the weekend preparing newsfiles etc for the opening of the new place, but mostly preparing for this play. Spent the last couple of days humping scenery into place and then helping to construct the set. Mostly been helping as an 'ideas' man, as there's been a few problems with the set and since I've designed them myself a few times I've at least got ideas how problems can be solved. So we've spent the last couple of days mulling things over, hacking things about and hopefully the shell of the set will be in place for tonight's rehersal.
We open on Thursday night, so have a rehersal tonight, tomorrow and wednesday night to get everything right. I'm going to mess up somewhere I know it.
Distracting myself by pottering with stuff for the new mux, but I do find it incredibly incredibly frustrating when I can't work out code stuff. Eveything else I can do, but code has always been a complete mystery to me. Thankfully a couple of patient people have endured my endless annoying questions on how to make things work. Considering I've built the entire grid, described the bulk of it, written a large amount of news files and formated them, coded and done other odd jobs like globals and stuff I fully intend to take the rest of the week off to concentrate on the show. No work, yay!
In other news, a certain person is really hacking me off at the moment. Someone really needs to have a seriously good talk with them if they actually stay around long enough to acctually acknowledge anyone's presence, let alone talk to them.
Probably just stressy at the moment. Lot on my plate just now.
Anyhow, my patience is certainly on a short fuse at the moment. Everyone, just deal. ;P
