I'm including all my past characters, just cos...
Part 1
1. The Happiest?
Hard one that. I don't really do happy characters and haven't had many. Sean would probably be up there, but that's stretching it. Of the characters I've played most, Mercer's probably the one most contented with his lot in life and with little angst. More not giving a damn than being particularly happy though.
2. The most Depressed and unhappy with life?
Probably Jono, but it's a close run thing between him and Toad. Jono's more angsty and far more obviously depressed but he, at least, had a fairly decent life til his mutation. Toad's been miserable his entire life, from his moment of birth.
3. Easily Gets angry?
Fangry probably, seeing as he was a psychotic ball of barely controlled fury pretty much all the time.
4. Would rather be alone most of the time?
Jono, certainly. Although he'd probably rather have company, loneliness is what he thinks he deserves.
5. Annoying as hell?
Mercer. Deliberately so. In fact, most of my characters are annoying. It's a hard run race between Mercer (smugly annoying), Runabout (psychotically annoying), and Jono (immensely frustrating).
6. Just a complete asshole?
Mercer in his way, but he does have a number of positive character traits. Probably Runabout then. He's just a big ****.
7. Would jump in front of a Bullet to save their Friends?
Jono has in the past, but no real sacrifice since it's unlikely to kill him. Probably Mercer is a close run second, although he'd look for other options before doing something that dumb.
8. Shy and not very talkative?
I can't think of any of my characters who are shy. Jono's probably the least talkative and most isolated.
9. Full of themselves?
Runabout, although Mercer puts across the impression he's more full of himself than he actually is. He, at least, recognises his own failings. Runabout isn't so aware.
10. Always ready for fight?
Runabout, ready, willing, able, always starts it. Doesn't always finish it.
11. Would find the best way to avoid a fight?
Mercer probably, he's the sneakiest.
12. Needs Company 24/7?
Toad. He needs people to fawn on.
13. Loves the sound of their own voice?
Runabout, even more than Mercer.
14. Tries to be the leader of the pack?
Mercer, Wing Commander, he is the leader of the pack.
15. Wants revenge?
Runabout definately. Fangry as well. Toad less so but it's still a factor.
Part 2
1. Who is your Main Character?
Jono technically, although I've had Mercer more places and on and off for about 8 years no, so he's probably the one that keeps coming back most. Jono though.
2. Who are He/She's best friend/s?
Jono: Khai's most forgiving of him (as you'd expect). He feels close to Zandra, although that's gone downhill lately, Arcadia was mainly a lust thing. Frankie he doesn't really get all the time. Kelly may well have been the person he felt closest to, with no sexual tension, but that sure as hell isn't the case any more.
Mercer: John Stroud is his most constant patner, but they don't really get on that well. He has a number of close friends on civvy street but they've never really come into play.
3. Does He/She have a GF/BF/Married?
Jono: Not sure at the moment. I think it's probably commonly accepted that he and Khai are in limbo, if not completely over at the moment. Arcadia is the only other person he harbours feelings for.
Mercer: No, although I'm pretty sure he has an ex wife somewhere on the scene, although again she's never come into play. He's probably more of the casual girlfriend, occasional shag type arrangement.
4. Does He/She have a rival? If so are they a friendly rival and do they hate each other with a passion?
Jono: Not really. Scuzz is the closest thing he has to an archnemesis, although he just simply doesn't care enough to consider him a rival, he just can't stand him.
Mercer: Stroud is the closest thing he has to a rival in a 'we work together and try and get one up on each other' kind of way. It's fairly amicable though.
5. Does your main char represent the r/l you?
Jono - In parts yes, I can be pretty fatalistic like he can, and he has some of my taste in music. But there's also some fairly major differences.
Mercer - Totally me. He's my dark side, he says the things I'd love to but am generally too nice to say. Most of his character traits are mine.
6. What character are you really proud you created?
Mercer is about the only one I really created - I tend to play more FCs than OCs. He's the only one that's endured and developed an entire life of his own, which few characters have.
7. Do you think about your chars alot?
Um, sometimes. If I'm rping them regularly then I think about them an average amount.
8. Do you ever wish you could meet your chars in r/l?
Not really. I doubt I'd get on with any of them. Mercer might make a good drinking companon but as he's me anyway...
9. Do you remember the moment you created your first Char?
Yeah, I think so. I was so proud of my one page app too I bet.
10. Is Originality important to you when creating a Character?
Yes, I like unusual ideas. I like freaks, let's face it. I'm attracted to odd characters, and the majority of my characters are utter weirdos in one way or another.
11. Do you ever look at somebody's character and wish it was yours?
John AKA Pyro I'd love to play but XET's John was so good I couldn't do him justice.
12. Can you see yourself keeping this up in the future?
Probably not, but until something else comes along I'll be around for a while yet.
