Bored and tired. Worried about various stuff I won't go into. Bad night last night where I was feeling jaded after a rough day at work and just wanted to hide away. Spent most of the evening playing guitar between trying to solve a few computer problems. I'll say this for OS X - it's more stable than OS9, but the downside is when something goes wrong I have no idea how to fix it.

Which reminds me - install Norton.

Found a moment to start a photomanip earlier, but can't see it working so I've given up on that one for now. Gona work on another which I'm not sure will work either. still...

Comic thoughts for last week (late I know.) Cut to save spoilers.

Alias - Excellent closer to the series, although the fate of Scott Lang seemed a little bit of a cop out after the cliffhanger of last issue. After all the buildup though, the situation with Purple Man seemed to resolve itself a little too quickly. But these are minor complaints. A great issue as always and just a shame that the it's the end of the series. The write up by Brian Michael Bendis after the conclusion with his future plans for Jessica Jones at least both amused and filled me with hope that the follow on will be just as god. If slightly less 'adult'.

Dark Days - One to read again when I have the whole series - to be read in one sitting. It's one of those arcs that will no doubt work better in Graphic Novel form than individual issues. Certainly as eye catching as ever though, with a few surprises.

Wolverine - After a great last issue this seemed a little bit of a come down - but not by much. Was still fairly gripping and certainly pretty adult. Although again I question how the X-men can tolerate Wolvy's hardcore behaviour that's shown in this book but go all preachy on Jono for breaking a few glasses. Anyway, has good potential as a storyarc, although I'm not sure about the love interest FBI agent's involvement.

Wolverine: the End - Nondescript. Won't bother to buy the rest. Don't like either the concept or the comic enough - the script's unoriginal and the art uninspiring.

The Authority - Indifferent really. Seems to be just covering the same ground over and over.

X-statix - No surprises this issue, or anything particularly memorable. A filler issue I can;t recall anything special about.
