Okay, I feel vindicated!
Well sort of. Okay, problems with the ADSL router, blahdy blahdy blah, been weighing on my mind as you all well know. Okay, okay, so I'm anal but I should know how to do all this stuff anyway.
Sooo, today I get in touch yet again with the technical support department of the company who'll supply the broadband and also the router. They continue to be hopeless but at least send me a link to a website that will tell me how to reset it and start again.
Turns out the link is a link to the manufacturer's website, so I poke around on the feedback boards and find that there's around 70 other posts from people having -exactly- the same problem I am.
It's not my fault!!
This at least I can be pleased about. The fact that there's a whole batch, or possibly the entire product, that's faulty is less reassuring as it seems unlikely we'll get a replacement overnight.
Grrrr!
Still... it's not -my- fault!
Glad to know I'm not a complete muppet.
