"I Don't Know Whether To Kill Myself Or Go Bowling" not included

This kept us much entertained on last week's deadline: A compilation of the best country songs (that I could find, anyway. I'm disappointed not to have been able to track down the aforementioned "I Don't Know Whether To Kill Myself Or Go Bowling" or "My Wife Ran Off With My Best Friend, And I Sure Do Miss Him", but I've done the best I can.

So, here it is:

1. Roger Miller - You Can't Rollerskate in a Buffalo Herd

2. Andre Williams - Pardon Me, I've Got Someone to Kill

3. George Straight - All My Exes Live in Texas

4. Kinky Friedman - Get Your Biscuits in the Oven and Your Buns in the Bed

5. John D. Wilson - The Boob Song

6. George Jones - White Lightning

7. B.J. Dowdy - Found My Gal at the Super Wal-mart Store

8. Bobby Bare - Drop Kick Me Jesus (Through the Goalposts of Life)

9. Honky Tonk Juke Box Band - I Gave Her the Ring, She Gave Me the Finger

10. Richard Morse - Hemorrhoids Remind Me Of You

11. Jimmy Buffet - Get Drunk and Screw

12. Hank Williams - Lovesick Blues

13. Big Hairy Johnson - Is That a Pistol in Your Pocket?

14. Travis Tritt - Here's A Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)

15. The Famous Brothers - Swiss Army Knife

16. Roger Miller - My Uncle Used To Love Me But She Died

17. Grant Cook - Two More Drinks, She'll Be Loose

18. Wilf Carter - The Yodelling Cowgirl

My assistant didn't believe most of these songs existed.

I proved him wrong.

(All mp3s deleted after seven days, for review purposes only. If you require they be taken down before that time, contact me.)

My favorite country song's always been Weird Al Yankovic's "Good Enough for Now".

Yeah, but these are the real thing. Well... most. Ish.

You know what's sad? I've actually HEARD most of these songs before. Huzzah for living in the midwest! *coughs delicately* My personal favorite of your list is the 'Here's a Quarter' one.
