Okay, it's official. I've had enough. I've put too much work into this thing to put up with the constant attitudes from everyone, players and admin alike. I'm not gonna just sit and watch it all fall apart and get bad mouthed in the process, I'd rather be somewhere else.
Anyhow...
Progress has suddenly come quickly with my flat. After going nowhere for a while, suddenly it looks like we're set to complete the purchase this coming Friday. I think I've JUST got enough money together to cover the final stamp duty tax, first 2 mortgage repayments that will come out this month and the solicitor's fees.
It's going to be VERY tight but hopefully I'll just be able to do it.
However, change of plans. Initially my sister and hubby were intending to stay in the flat while they got their place up together. However, they can't really afford to be paying me 'rent', and they don't expect me to be paying all the expenses for a flat I'm not living in - which is fair enough really. Don't want to be snitty about it, but I just don't have the cash to be that generous and pay all the travelling expenses from home for over a month. So, my sister will be moving out this coming Saturday, which means the place is mine after that.
I've made progress a bit with the furniture - I've bought a fair bit from the neighbour of one of my work collegues. That means my bedroom will now be fairly up together - I'll have my desk, a few sets of drawers, a bed and wardrobe. Kitchen is also pretty up together - I'm buying a fridge freezer off another work collegue and everything else is in place I believe.
That just leaves the lounge, as the bathroom is also up together. I haven't got any chairs. :P I have got another desk and a couple of bookcases and cabinets. So seating is the major problem.
So, I've started packing everything together ready for the move. I have -way- too much stuff, that's for sure. And not enough boxes.
Anyway, back to the packing...
