It's got a lot of flack from both sides of the political debate on the abortion/adoption issue, but I just generally found it sweet, funny and smart in equal measure. Juno reminded me of a couple of my friends from my school days (minus the pregnancy) and I thought the attitude towards the pregnancy in the movie was sensitively handled and while obviously I can see that Juno's casual attitude to both sex and the pregnancy and adoption could be considered controversial, the awareness of that meant that it didn't come across to me as casting a bad or irresponsible message.
