Yeah, not the sort of thing I'd pick up generally, but again they were in the "books for 99p" promotion, which you can't turn down.

I've also got "Murder in the Central Committee" by Manuel Vazquez Montalban to read from the same promotion, which is a rather convoluted read, so I put it down after a chapter or two and need to pick up again. Also "The Story of My Disappearance" by Paul Watkins which again, didn't grab me after a chapter so I'll have to be in the mood for it.

I gave up with "The Roaches Have No King" by Daniel Evan Weiss which sounded like an intelligent "Joe's Apartment" but was actually just a nasty, arch read with grotesque characters and bad writing. I gave up after a couple of chapters and won't try again.
